Characterization
We encourage good characterization in the Rogin. Good deaths and above average garb are common.
Rogin Standard Warrior Classes:

The Rogin are a mixed group of warriors, a clan banned together by a common respect and kinship, Each Warrior has his or own personal style that he or she chooses, for the Rogin do not fight wars the Roman style, total war. Rogin are warriors not soldiers, These are the general classes of Warriors in the Rogin Clan, including weapon style, shield style if any, and armor if any. But no Rogin is required to fall into these categories; every member is open to fighting his or her own style and is encouraged to.
Rogin Peasant Warriors:
The Rogin Peasant Warriors are usually not highly trained, but they make up for it in numbers and passion, Most can’t afford weapons, so they use what ever they can get there hands on from farm tools to table legs to large staffs and pieces of wood, most cant afford armor so any they have are bits and pieced taken from the dead on the field.
Rogin Spearman:
The Rogin spearman is used in almost every battle, He or she is equipped with a five foot to eight foot spear as a primary weapon, he or she often carries a dagger for close combat and most spearmen wear light leather torso armor and a leather helm.
Rogin Rabbeller:
The Rogin Rabbeller is often seen in the open field rather than in the woods or cave fights, He or she fights with two weapons often short clubs or short single edged swords, they are very fast on their feet and spend most of their combat time jumping through the air at their enemies, most Rabbellers wear thick leather torso arm and leg armor but few have been seen with helm of any type.
Rogin Skirmisher:
The Rogin Skirmisher is one of the most common sights on the battle field and most Rogin fall under this category, He or she is equipped with a wicker shield or a small wooden shield, multiple javelins, multiple rocks of about brick size and a small to medium length sword or club. Most wear light leather torso armor and bracers but a few have been seen with steel breast plates picked off of enemy dead.
Rogin Archer:
The Rogin Archers are often seen on smaller conflicts and wood battles, He or she is given a bow and as many arrows as possible, And most Rogin have a bow of their own but most can’t afford arrows, The Rogin Archer uses a smaller Bow, one he or she can use for hunting game when not on the battle field, Most Rogin Archers don’t wear armor.
Rogin Hunter:
The Rogin Hunter is a mix of a Skirmisher and an Archer, He or she is only usually in woods battles, they use javelins, bow and arrow, and crossbows. They often carry a smaller sword or large knife with them. Most only wear light leather torso armor, note they are rarely seen and they treat their enemies like game rather than soldiers, they hunt their enemies.
Rogin Berserker:
Rogin Berserkers are present at every battle and are an unmistakable terror to whom ever is in front of them, He or she, and yes there are female berserkers though few have lived to tell of them, always carries a great weapon usually a great sword or a great club, some carry daggers, but it is rumored that it isn’t used for close combat rather it is used for cutting tasty parts off there enemies, most berserkers are fast loud and don’t wear armor or anything at all for that matter, paint and blood are the preferred clothing of the Berserkers. Warning: if you come a cross a Rogin Berserker, run, run very fast and very far away, Rogin Berserkers are renowned for cutting Fully armored heavy infantry in half, this includes there shields as well.
Rogin Light Infantry:
Rogin Light Infantry are only called in at major battles; there most common task is to guard camps and settlements from wild animals as well as invading armies. They use a twenty four to thirty six inch sword and a wooden shield usually between twelve and twenty four inches wide and twenty four to thirty six inches tall, most carry a javelin with them, they wear steel torso armor and light leather arm and or leg armor.
Rogin Heavy Infantry
Rogin Heavy infantry are a rarity in the field and have only one has ever been seen and only once, everything in a ten foot radius of him was dead, heavy infantry carry a thirty six inch or greater sword that they wield single handed, they carry multiple javelins and a shield at least twenty four inches wide and at least forty eight inches tall made out of heave wood and steel., all heavy infantry wear full head to toe armor most have a mix of thick leather and metal, some even have bits of chain mail, all wear helms, most are hardened leather.
